Apricot Seed Meal
Apricot seed meal can be added to your soap at trace for a mild exfoliating action. Whether creating a scrub, or regular bar soap, this is a great natural soap making exfoliator. Apricot seed meal is one of the more mild natural skin care abrasives that we offer making it great in products for sensitive skin. In your batch, use only 1 - 2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
1/4 Pound: $7.90
1/2 Pound: $13.18
1 Pound: $21.08
Cranberry Seeds
Cranberry seeds are used in natural bath and beauty products as an exfoliator. They are deep red in color and can be added to the top of your bars for abrasiveness and decoration. Alternately, they can be mixed into your entire batch to create a scrub feel within your soap. Although the natural red color of the seeds will initially be present, over some time the red will gradually fade to a brown.
1/4 Pound: $9.78
1/2 Pound: $16.30
1 Pound: $26.08
Raspberry Seeds
Raspberry seeds can be used in scrubs and soaps as an all natural exfoliator. This is one of the more abrasive soap making exfoliators out there. Although it can be used in whole form, in homemade soap it is often ground up before inserting into the batch for a milder feel. Simply grind up the seeds using your food processor or coffee grinder and add the powder at trace; Simple. For a scrub bar, this product can certainly be added as is. Start out by using 1 - 2 teaspoons per pound of oils and adjust from there depending on your liking.
1/4 Pound: $9.78
1/2 Pound: $16.30
1 Pound: $26.08
Strawberry Seeds
Strawberry seeds are VERY tiny, but still do a great job in exfoliation. Add them to your bar soap or scrub at trace and thoroughly mix into your batch. I would say that the abrasiveness of strawberry seeds is probably in-between that of apricot seed meal and raspberry seeds. As with all the soap making exfoliants, you can add them to the top of your bar if you wish for only a single side of your soap to be abrasive. Use 1 - 2 teaspoons per pound of oils to start and adjust as needed.
1/4 Pound: $9.78
1/2 Pound: $16.30
1 Pound: $26.08
