Eucalyptus, Radiata Essential Oil
Eucalyptus Radiata essential oil is my personal favorite type of eucalyptus essential oil for soap making. It has a small amount of piperitone in its makeup, which is also found in peppermint. This makes it great for that eucalyptus peppermint blend that so many love. Along with peppermint and all of the other menthols, eucalyptus radiata essential oil blends very well with chamomile, grapefruit, juniper, lavender, lemon, thyme and the woodsy scents including cedarwood, pine and many more.

Nutmeg Essential Oil
Nutmeg is one of those must have essential oils for soap making. It is best used for adding a special element to your blends. It provides a really nice spice to the aroma along with some sweet and woody notes. It has a scent very similar to the nutmeg used for cooking; only it is richer and deeper. A little goes a long way with nutmeg essential oil, so use it sparingly. Huge quantities have been known to cause toxic reactions when consumed. When used on the skin, too much can be irritating. Nutmeg essential oil combines well with bay (rum), clary sage, coriander, geranium, lavender, lime, mandarin, oakmoss, orange, rosemary, and the spicy soap making essential oils.
