Avocado Oil - For the Best All Natural Skin Care

Avocado oil is by far one of the best all natural skin care ingredient out there. Although it is better known for its use in gourmet cooking, this substance is definitely one of my favorite ingredients to use in soap making because of its many benefits for the skin.

Here's the interesting part: there are not too many large commercial skin care companies that incorporate avocado oil into their products. Many of the companies that do claim to use this ingredient cancel out the benefits by also incorporating harmful synthetics and chemicals.

A great way to see awesome skin care results from using avocado oil topically is to make avocado oil soap yourself, or purchase homemade avocado oil soap from a natural soap maker.

Why is Avocado Oil Soap a Wonderful Homemade Natural Skin Care Product?

Avocado oil contains a massive amount of naturally occurring vitamin E. This vitamin is beneficial to the skin for the following reasons:

  • Vitamin E has antioxidant properties, protecting the skin from ultraviolet light, air pollution, and many other skin damaging free radicals.
  • Vitamin E promotes young looking skin by aiding in the reduction of wrinkles.
  • Vitamin E helps the skin regenerate damaged cells.

Avocado oil also contains vitamin A which has many additional benefits:

  • Vitamin A reduces wrinkles
  • Vitamin A helps create compounds that aid in rebuilding damaged skin cells
  • Vitamin A increases the production of glycosaminoglycan and procollagen which are both important components for the healthy structure of your skin.

Furthermore, Avocado soap makes a great homemade natural skin care product because of its wonderful moisturizing abilities. This oil actually attracts water from the air onto your skin.
